Tell PA lawmakers: Protect LGBT Pennsylvanians from discrimination!
Right now in Pennsylvania, it’s legal to fire, deny housing or refuse service at a public business to someone just because they are gay or transgender. As the only state in the Northeast that still denies these basic protections to non-public sector employees, Pennsylvania’s outdated laws hurt employers’ ability to attract top talent and discourages investment in our state.
Thankfully, all this will change if state lawmakers pass the Pennsylvania Fairness Act to update our laws and protect all Pennsylvanians from discrimination, including on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.
If you believe that no one should be discriminated against because of who they are or whom they love, send a message to your legislators now urging them to support the Pennsylvania Fairness Act, legislation that will protect all Pennsylvanians from discrimination, and help support a more robust economy in the Keystone State.
